KEY COMPONENT #5: Conclude the Program's Needs

KEY COMPONENT #5:

Conclude the Program's Needs

Your conclusion is a way to summarize the needs and how you anticipate they can be met. When concluding your needs assessment report, remember to discuss who benefits from addressing the needs outlined in the report. Is it the people who are served by the program or service? Is your organization serving your clients well, however, you found that there is a need for their families or support systems to be part of the systemic healing of the clients served? Are there needs of connecting your consumers to outside organizations or systems. Lastly, did you uncover needs that relate to the larger community systems that your clients are a part of?

Helping the reader to understand the results of the needs assessment and recommendations your program has determined would help meet these needs is important to convey in a needs assessment report.
