KEY COMPONENT #1: Describe Program and Needs
KEY COMPONENT #1:
Describe Your Program and Needs
Let's face it, how can anyone back you up and support your program if they don't know what it is about? This is the opportunity to provide an overview of your program and the program's needs. As you describe the program, think about the main problem facing the people you serve. Be sure to add this information into your program description and how it is part of a greater health problem. Provide information from research relating to changes over time. Has the program worsened? If so, describe the ways it has worsened. Another important part of the description is to discuss how if not addressed, matters could get worse.
